Rollout Systems is pleased to announce that we are in “candidate status” and soon will be receiving our CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO) certification. CMMC C3PAOs are the only businesses/individuals authorized by the Department of Defense to conduct CMMC assessments.

Overview: The CMMC program is a standard set of practices and processes developed by the DoD to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and all companies within the DoD supply chain must adhere to the program. The DoD is writing the CMMC requirement into contracts as soon as CY2021, meaning all companies that participate in the DoD supply chain must start immediately preparing and taking the necessary steps to receive their CMMC certification from a C3PAO. Unlike NIST 171, companies are not permitted to self-certify their compliance to CMMC. Only a C3PAO can determine whether a company has met all necessary steps to achieve their CMMC Level 1-5.
